The CEO of Timeshares By Owner, Jeffrey Frantz, has been appointed to ARDA’s Chairman’s League. The Chairman’s League of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) was started 12 years ago in response to members’ requests for a higher level at which professionals could showcase their commitment to the industry. Chairman’s League is an additional level of commitment beyond the corporate membership. It is designed for individuals who wish to become more active in the Association. The Chairman’s League represents a special form of membership that includes a variety of exclusive benefits in return for members’ additional financial support that focuses upon fulfilling the needs of companies to improve their networking capabilities and their industry profile. Chairman’s League members have direct contact with the Chairman and President of the Association. League members are called upon to provide insight into current industry issues and to help develop and guide association programs.

Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific received two of the most prominent awards at the recent American Resort Development Association (ARDA) awards recently held in Las Vegas. The awards were presented to the company in the categories of “General Manager” and “Marketing – Operational Support Staff Manager”. The award acknowledges the company as the best in the world and also helps build its reputation as a favored travel industry employer. Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific is a division of Wyndham Worldwide. Individual recipients were Apivut Chakuthip, Wyndham’s Director of Market Intelligence and Glenn Daniels, Wyndham’s General Manager for their Fiji timeshare resort. Chakuthip was recognized for his use of strategic information to develop effective marketing methods to reach certain goals and to bring more travelers to the Wyndham resorts. Daniels was recognized for all of his efforts during the storms and floods of 2009, and his teams outstanding customer service during that time.

Holiday Inn Club Vacations received several “Gold” awards at the recent ARDA convention held in Las Vegas. It is the highest honor in the timeshare industry. Their “Gold” winners include marketing managers, sales and administrative managers, staff members, vendors, their Fall newsletter, and marketing campaigns. Ten awards were given to Holiday Inn Club Vacations. Holiday Inn Club Vacation’s flagship property is located in Orlando next to Disney World and was established in 1982 by Holiday Inn founder Kemmons Wilson. The Orlando property is known as Orange Lake Resort and consists of a 1,450-acre golf, water park and sports resort, and 2,478 villas with plans for expansion to 4,500 villas. Other member resort locations include Lake Geneva in Wisconsin, Panama City in the panhandle of Florida, Brownsville in Vermont, Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, and Gatlinburg in Tennessee.
