Interval International has welcomed Golden Tulip Mangosteen Resort and Spa to its global vacation exchange network. The Golden Tulip Mangosteen Resort and Spa is located on Phuket, Thailand’s popular holiday island. From its hillside location near Nai Harn Beach, visitors have a panoramic view of the Andaman Sea, including four bays and the distant island of Phi Phi. Residence Rio Falze is now an Interval International property. Located in Madonna di Campiglio of the Italian Dolomites, this destination offers excellent alpine skiing from December through April and is a mecca for hikers from June to September. The Residence Rio Falze is surrounded by stunning scenery and provides access to a full spectrum of sports and amenities in winter or summer, according to a Senior Vice-President of Interval International. In addition to outstanding outdoor activities, amenities include 89 one-bedroom apartments, complemented by 20 studios and 20 two-bedroom units. All have a large balcony and kitchenette with microwave, satellite LCD TV, its own ski school, large lobby with a fireplace, sauna, reading and games rooms, laundry services, and a parking garage.

The Pacifico Diamante Private Residence Club will be an Interval International property. Located in Acapulco, the property will feature 200 three and four-bedroom fractional units being built in five phases during the next several years. They have been designed with a sophisticated contemporary décor and feature spacious dining and living rooms, marble floors, fully equipped gourmet kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, state-of-the-art electronics, Wi Fi Internet access, and private outdoor terraces. The complex’s modern buildings are set in manicured gardens around a central courtyard with a swimming pool and children’s splash pool. Plans call for a private beach club, restaurant, tennis courts, paddle tennis, gym, sauna, spa, and concierge service to be available upon completion of the first phase.

Club Tesoro Resorts has entered into a long-term, multi-site affiliation agreement with Interval International. The new agreement encompasses Club Tesoro in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, as well as all future acquired properties. The Club Tesaro Resort resort is owned by Steadfast Properties and features room service, an on site retail shopping plaza, valet service, concierge services, a spa and salon, and amenities above and beyond the usual.

Shell Vacations Club (SVC) and Interval International have announced a long-term partnership. The Illinois based SVC is a well-known independent resort developer and this agreement encompasses up to 24 SVC operated and affiliated resorts in Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Shell Vacations has roughly 65,000 members who benefit from its points-based program and come January 2, 2012, all consumers will be automatically enrolled in the Interval International membership club. Shell owners will receive the year-round benefits of Interval International, and the SVC Elite members will become part of the prominent Interval Platinum level.

Interval International welcomes Hotel Savoy on Madeira. The timeshare exchange company has affiliated Hotel Savoy on the Portuguese island of Madeira and it will include 246 timeshare apartments upon completion in 2014. All of the Hotel Savoy timeshare apartments will be air-conditioned, offer Internet access, and have ocean-facing balconies or terraces. One-bedroom apartments will have separate lounge and dining areas, a full kitchen and master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet. The two and three-bedroom lock-off apartments will be ideally suited to holidays with friends or family sleeping up to six and eight guests respectively. Studio units will have a kitchenette and a spacious lounge area.

Interval International has extended its affiliation with Four Season Residence Clubs. The relationship was established in 1997 when Toronto based Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, a leading operator of luxury hotels, entered into the shared ownership industry. The multi-year agreement encompasses two exceptional new properties, the Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara in Carlsbad, California, and the Four Seasons Residence Club Scottsdale at Troon North in Arizona. The Aviara is set amidst rolling valleys and a protected wildlife sanctuary with views of the Pacific Ocean. Each villa includes a fireplace and private balcony. The Scottsdale at Troon North is nestled within Arizona’s Sonoran Desert.

Interval International has strengthened its commitment in South Africa with the opening of a resort sales and service office in Cape Town and its ongoing support of the Vacation Ownership Association of Southern Africa (VOASA). Interval International established a market presence in 2008 through an exclusive affiliation agreement with SunSwop, the Lifestyle Resorts division of leading hotelier, Southern Sun. Since then, the company has added Zorgvliet Private Residence Club and Mjejane Game Reserve (adjacent to Kruger National Park) to its resort network.
