The El Cid Resorts have renewed their affiliation with RCI. The 35 year-old Mexican hotel group continues the partnership in an effort to offer the high-quality services and varied exchange options its owners have come to expect over the last 27 years. The agreement includes El Cid’s six developments in Mazatlan, Cozumel, and the Mayan Riviera. All of the El Cid properties are known for its oceanfront accommodations and luxury spas, as well as beautiful golf courses.

Ixchel Residences is now affiliated with RCI, a global leader in vacation exchange. The Ixchel Residences, located on Isla Mujeres, an island that is a world away from busy Cancun with a peaceful and laid-back lifestyle, is a popular beach destination just a 20-minute ferry ride from either Puerto Juarez or Cancun. The Pacifico Diamante Private Residence Club will be an Interval International property. Located in Acapulco, the property will feature 200 three and four-bedroom fractional units being built in five phases during the next several years. They have been designed with a sophisticated contemporary décor and feature spacious dining and living rooms, marble floors, fully equipped gourmet kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, state-of-the-art electronics, Wi Fi Internet access, and private outdoor terraces. The complex’s modern buildings are set in manicured gardens around a central courtyard with a swimming pool and children’s splash pool. Plans call for a private beach club, restaurant, tennis courts, paddle tennis, gym, sauna, spa, and concierge service to be available upon completion of the first phase.

Club Tesoro Resorts has entered into a long-term, multi-site affiliation agreement with Interval International. The new agreement encompasses Club Tesoro in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, as well as all future acquired properties. The Club Tesaro Resort resort is owned by Steadfast Properties and features room service, an on site retail shopping plaza, valet service, concierge services, a spa and salon, and amenities above and beyond the usual.

Royal Aloha slashes fees for its new members. Headquartered in Honolulu, the non-profit timeshare company Royal Aloha Vacation Club has announced the reduction of its perpetual membership initiation fees by 60% as part of its 34th anniversary celebration. The promo, which lasts only until September 20, 2011, covers all nine destinations including Waikiki, Kona and Maui, Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, Chandler, Branson, Oregon, Marbella in Spain, and Acapulco in Mexico. Under the promo, every new member will receive a free iPad for a one-time initiation fee of $1,295 for a one-bedroom/one-week membership, or $2,495 for two-bedroom/one-week application. Both packages include a lifetime membership, tax and escrow closing fees, and use of any Royal Aloha location for a week each year. One of the first vacation clubs ever established in North America, Royal Aloha is owned and managed by 8.500 members and has 227 condominium units.
